Joey joined Commercial Advisors Asset Services in 2009 to expand Commercial Advisors Asset Services’s asset recovery group, which specializes in assisting lenders with distressed assets. Joey will lead Commercial Alliance Resolution Group to help solve the growing distressed asset issues with banks and lenders.

Joey joins Commercial Advisors Asset Services with more than 15 years of experience in Memphis real estate business. He began his real estate career as a homebuilder. In 1996 he joined Kemmons Wilson, Inc. to increase their residential development and construction operations. In 2001, while at Kemmons Wilson, Joey transitioned to leading company efforts to pioneer empty-nester, ranch-styled condominium communities in the Memphis metropolitan area. In leading that effort, he focused on business development, project development, marketing of concept and brand and project oversight. While leading Kemmons Wilson Communities operation, the company sold over 300 condominiums generating revenue in excess of $54 million. In 2004, Kemmons Wilson Communities was recognized nationally as the EPCON Franchise of the year.
